So Ariel Bissett (@ArielBissett) is hosting the Christmas Booktube-a-thon and I really want to participate. If you don’t know what a Booktube-a-thon is, it’s a predetermined period of time in which you try to read as many books as you possibly can, sort of like a marathon for books.
This Booktube-a-thon is from the 19th until the 21st of December. There are a couple of challenges if you decide to take part. (You can do the Booktube-a-thon and not do the challenges too, your choice, I just think that it adds something extra).
These are the challenges:
1) A book with red and green on the cover
This is the only one I could find that i hadn’t read yet. I’m actually halfway through (That’s probably cheating but hey.. I’m trying here). Maybe I should just start over.. We’ll see.. I’ll let you know.
I bought this book almost two years ago in Paris at Shakespeare and Company and I completely forgot. I only remember because of this bookmark.
I love these silly surprises, things that I forgot and then rediscover. There are so many memories hidden on my bookshelf.
2) A book you wanted to read this year
Since it was on my Christmas TBR anyway, I thought I would just read it as part of this challenge. I’ve been wanting to read this book ever since I heard it about.
3) A gifted/recommended book
I don’t have a lot of books that were gifted to me so I chose this one because it was recommended to me several times. I’m really looking forward to reading this actually. I don’t know why I didn’t get to it before.
And those are the three books I want to try and read during the BookTube-a-thon.
Wish me luck!
